We have a NEW name!
For over 10 years, you've known us as Individual Achievements Association. Now get to know us as GaitWay!

Why the change? Each day we see the positive impact we have on the lives of all the children and families we serve. That impact has had an effect on us! It has inspired us to continue to provide the best services. It builds our pride knowing we're a part of helping others improve their lives. And it says to us that what we do makes a real difference. What we see in those we serve is a real change to a better life; our role is to simply provide a path. We are a GaitWay to better lives for children and young adults affected by motor disabilities.

Feel free to let us know what you think of our new name. We'd love the feedback.

GaitWay...Serving children, young adults, and families in the Southwest

Gaitway focuses on children and young adults living with motor disabilities caused by cerebral palsy, spina bifida, or other brain injuries. Small group activities in a classroom setting help the individual learn fine and gross motor, intellectual, self-help, and social skills.

Using the principles of Conductive Education, the individual can achieve greater body control and learn how to problem solve the complex learning activities we all engage in everyday, such as eating and drinking and learning how to move from one place to the next.

Group activities in a familiar classroom setting provide a fun, peer group environment for learning skills that can lead to independence and self-confidence.
